JAMBS
The Jamb Extension is what is needed between the window frame
and the wall of your home or building. Varying widths of the
wall will determine what size or depth is needed.
CROWN
To finish a room from floor to ceiling may require this trim
in the corner of the wall and the ceiling. This adds a very
distinguished and eloquent look to a dining room, master bedroom,
hallway, or any area of the house that you decide needs a
more polished look.
BASE
Base trim is the material that rests on the floor, but is
attached to the wall. This covers the gap between the floor
and wall which is a must in every room of the home.
CHAIR RAIL
Trim that is usually intended for kitchens, dining rooms,
hallway or office space that sits against the wall about 36-42”
above the floor.
WINDOW SILL
At the bottom of a window, a piece of decorative trim can
be placed on the stud framing of the rough opening between
the Jamb Extensions and against the frame of the window. The
trim can create a look of stately windows depending on the
thickness and the profile that is chosen.
WINDOW OR DOOR STOP
The small decorative trim piece that keeps a windowpane from
falling out or the part that keeps a door from swinging too
far.
STAIR TREADS AND STAIR RISERS
If you own a two-story house or a building with a basement,
you probably have a set of stairs. Stairs consist of risers
& treads. Treads are what people step on when going up
or going down the stairs. Risers are what create the “rise”
between the treads. Treads and Risers can be carpeted, stained
or creatively decorated. These components can be straight
as well as curved.
HAND RAIL
Stairs and balconies require handrails for safety (stairs-something
to hold on to, while balconies need them for safety reasons)
and for decoration. These pieces come in all shapes and sizes,
painted or stained.
BAR RAIL
The decorative trim around a bar that hides the end grain,
or as simple as the resting area for elbows while bellying
up to a bar.
EXTERIOR TRIM
Brickmould Casing, flat S4S stock, window sills, window skirting,
crown and decorative trim. All these items can be manufactured
from hardwoods or exterior PVCs (Azek, Versatex).
CUSTOM WINDOWS
Matching existing retro windows and decorative trim or creating
new shapes for an older house or building.
TRANSOM
Shapes above doors (usually entry doors) or cased openings
with or without glass.
All the products listed above can be milled for straight
line usage or as radius components.
